La réunion de janvier de l'AFK sera la célébration de la fête des Rois, le dimanche 14 janvier, de 15 à 17 h. à Historic Westwood, 3425 Kingston Pike, Knoxville. Nous en profiterons pour tirer les Rois - Laurent demande à tous ceux qui le peuvent, d'apporter un gâteau à partager; ou un autre plat léger.

Venez nombreux pour célébrer le vin nouveau ! Entrée : 10$ par personne, gratuit pour les membres de l'AFK. The Alliance Française Knoxville will celebrate Bastille Day at the home of Suzanne and Piero Angelini, Saturday July 15 from 6 – 9 p.m. As this will be a pot luck dinner, please bring your favorite dish to share and a bottle of wine. We too will dance and sing to celebrate this great French holiday. Bring your appetites, your voices, and your dancing shoes!!! A bientot!!

Sadly, the weather predictions for tomorrow do not sound promising for pétanque et piquenique. Even if the rain has stopped, the area where we play will probably be wet and muddy, and the temperatures will be cool and brisk, not conducive to drying out comfortably from slogging through muck. Sorry, all.

Change in plans for Saturday

Sadly, the weather predictions for tomorrow do not sound promising for pétanque et piquenique. Even if the rain has stopped, the area where we play will probably be wet and muddy, and the temperatures will be cool and brisk, not conducive to drying out comfortably from slogging through muck. We will look for a date to reschedule when we might have better conditions.

Perhaps AFK members may want to take advantage of the indoor event at the Knoxville Museum of Art this Sunday afternoon (the film La morte de Louis XIV and director's chat). See this link for more info:
