The June meeting of the AFK will be a presentation about the Chauvet Cave by Gilbert Crémèse Saturday, June 20th, 3-5 p.m. West Knoxville (Bearden) branch of Knox County Library, 100 Golf Club Road. He will share with us his enthusiasm for cave paintings and particularly for the 36,000 year old paintings of the Grotte Chauvet, discovered 20 years ago in the southeast of France. His presentation will be in French with handouts in English. AFK will provide the beverages. You may bring some snacks or cookies to share.

Le prochain rendez-vous de l'AFK sera un exposé sur la grotte Chauvet par Gilbert Crémèse le samedi 20 juin, de 15 à 17 h, à West Knoxville (Bearden) branche de la bibliothèque de Knox County, 100 Golf Club Road. Il partagera avec nous son enthousiasme pour l'art rupestre et en particulier pour les peintures de la Grotte Chauvet dont certaines datent de 36 000 ans, et furent découvertes il y a 20 ans dans le sud-est de la France.
